Its goals are the promotion and protection of the environment; the education to citizenship and rights; the promotion of gender equality and women and children rights.
In recent years, ADEPDH has conducted awareness and prevention actions to combat violence against women and has provided psychological and social support to victims of sexual violence.
AEDH partnership: since 2014.
AEDH support: In 2014, ADEPDH received a grant from DECLIK for its project on public awareness for women rights and defense of detainees’ rights in the Rutshuru territory. In 2016, AEDH renewed its support to finance this project.
